Service's for  families

At all our servcies, children and familes are welcome.

However, at present only one service (1st Sunday at Denton) is especially tailored to children and families. We often also have familes at our Earsham Fresh Expression Service.

The 1st Sunday of the Month

On the first service of the month we have a family service at St Mary's, Denton. The service starts at 9:30am with coffee/tea, a chance to chat and crafts. At 10am we have a short service suitable for All-Ages.

Lightwave

We encourage all our families to attend the weekly lightwave service at 3:30pm in Emmanuel Church Rooms. The servcie is run by Rev Ed and Heather land and startes with family activities before a short cafe style service.

Holiday Club

Every year we run a Holiday Club in the 1st week of the summer school holidays. It is always amazing. Check the link below to see what we have done in the past and what is happening this year!

Schools Minister

We have a part-time Schools Chaplain, Caroline Hutton, who works in our three church primary schools helping to support their Christian ethos. 

She also supports all age worship services in the benefice as well as organising annual holiday clubs and a dedicated team of volunteers.

Collective Worship in Schools

All of our three schools provide a daily act of Collective Worship for the children and staff.

Our Schools Minister organises a weekly Collective Worship in each of our schools which is led by members of our Ministry Team.

Open the Book

This is currently only offered in Alburgh with Denton School on a weekly basis. Members of our congregations, along with some of the pupils, act out a Bible story. This is followed by a time for reflection/prayer and finishes with the Lord's Prayer.
